Gravel Waves

Beskrivelse

This is an oil painting in the style of abstract city imagery. Through the interweaving of warm and cold color blocks and blurred composition, it creates a quiet and hazy spatial atmosphere. The colors are mainly composed of light gray-blue, off-white, smoky black and slightly gold. The scraper and thick painting techniques are used to irregularly draw the "city texture" that is staggered horizontally and vertically. The picture seems disordered, but it reveals the metaphor of the architectural structure in the vertical and horizontal directions, as if it is an old city in the fog, a reflection on the glass after the rain, or a gradually fading memory. The gold and dark black in the upper right corner and the bottom of the picture form visual anchors, injecting depth and rhythm into the whole work. The overall expression is a kind of "flowing in silence" power.
